Just watched the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who on BBC1.

Altogether an enjoyable episode. A nice bit of escapism on a Saturday evening. I have to watch it alone because my children are too scared to watch it with me.

I came across this fan-made video for The Time War the other day. It is amazing how much time people have to spend making such things. Very well done and enjoyable. I wonder whether the BBC will ever get around to filling in the gap between Doctor #8 and #9?

Having just started using Flickr, I’ve been lured into joining the 365 days project. The idea is that you take a self portrait every day for a year. Just what a self portrait consists of is a bit loose - anything as long as you took the photo and it contains a bit of you.

You can see my efforts here. Days when I have more time I’ll try and be a bit creating/experimental. Other days there will probably just be a quick picture of me at my desk.

This is the first post to my new blog.

I hope to post the odd random thought, observation or photo. Don’t expect anything too profound or life changing.  First of all I need to learn how to use this blogging software and fit that in with all of the other things that take up my time.
